SCYA’s sole purpose is to promote the health and well-being of our communities’ youth through providing recreational and competitive athletic programs for players ages 3 to 18. These programs demonstrate to our youth the ideals of sportsmanship, teamwork, character, preparation, and service.
Our program is run entirely by dedicated and selfless volunteers from our community. As a non-profit organization, no position or person receives payment or personal gain from their support. They volunteer because they believe in our communities’ future leaders and understand the importance of fitness, health and positive learning experiences.
For the association to continue to provide outstanding athletic programs we need more dedicated volunteers from the board and advisory levels all the way to Team Parents. Please consider getting involved in supporting our community. Visit the Sponsor section in the main menu for more information.
SCYA has facilities at Galesville Park located off Anchor's Way on Rte. 255, Old South Park located on Rte. 2 between Southern Middle School and Rte. 258, Shady Side Park located at the end of Shady Side Rd. and Tracey's Park located next to Tracey's Elementary School.
